where are we?

Our town is located in the south – east of Poland...

... only 12 km away from Rzeszów – the capital of the region

a bit of history The town was founded in 1570. It was supposed to be Poland’s first modern city, based on the theoretical assumptions of the Renaissance.

the market square The square is an original Renaissance spatial solution. Due to its size, it is one of the largest in the country.

simba – the local pet Simba has been in our town since 2009. The lion was rescued from the circus and now the animal lives in a special cage in the owner’s garden.

volunteering we hold different charity events to help children in need in our country and abroad

PROJECT: Polish – Ukrainian Students Exchange Szepetowka – Glogow Mlp. 2010 aims: to learn Ukrainian and Polish history, customs and traditions to understand different cultures to develop the attitude of openness and tolerance

PROJECT: Summer Academy of Leaders Poland – Czech Rep. – Lithuania 2012 aims: to develop leadership skills and teamwork attitude to encourage students to take part in the life of their local communities to learn about the culture of participating countries

PROJECT : „Around the world with English” 2012/2013 Our students collaborated with their friends in Turkey, Italy, Taiwan and the USA. They exchanged letters, made videos, did projects.

Partnership: Poland - Slovakia Since 2000 our school has been collaborating with the school in Spisskie Podhradie in Slovakia. We cooperate in the field of ecology and sport and organize students exchanges

folk group Hanka Hanka was established in 2002. Since then, the young artists have performed both nationally and abroad in countries such as Hungary, Slovakia, Canada, Macedonia, Ukraine.
