3 What is it? The Montessori School at LeMoyne is:
A public elementary school with admission open to students ages 3 and 4 for An opportunity for students to receive a rigorous academic program based on the Montessori principles A school that is characterized by: multi-age classrooms a special set of educational materials student-chosen work in longer time blocks collaboration the absence of grades individual and small-group instruction in both academic and social skills This hands-on, multi-sensory approach to learning will provide a viable alternative for district students who might otherwise struggle in traditional school environments. What is it?
