Greek Monsters

Medusa Medusa is the mythical monster that everyone remembers. A curse Was put on Medusa to make her hair into snakes! The curse was put on her by the goddess Athena because when she had hair, she was always bragging about it! The powers that Medusa had were brimming with evil. What she did was tricked you into looking at her hair, then the next thing you know you’re a stone statue! The tale of Medusa’s death is told in many different ways, here is my favourite,

Mermaids Mermaids aren’t what many people think, they aren’t friendly in fact they’re the exact opposite! In reality they’re monsters with the sharpest teeth around! If you click on the picture above it will lead you to a website about sirens, the sirens are closely related to mermaids only they’re half bird not fish! Interestingly the tales about the sirens can some times be told about mermaids! all Mermaids are part fish and part human.

Minotaur A minotaur is a cross between from a bull and a man. A minotaur is thought to be one of the most feared figures of Greek mythology. The minotaur stories are mostly set in dungeons, but the occasional story is set on a different background.

Hydra A hydra is a treachero us fire breathing monster with nine, yes nine, heads! As you can guess the hydra lives in water, well with the name hydra (which means a water pulp) You’d guess it lives in the water!

Centaur A centaur is half man and half horse. This hybrid is normally violent and hurtful, so if you come across one, I advise you to keep your distance. If you wish to learn more on centaurs click the closest photo!

Cycl ps Cyclops are a humongous creatures with a single eye in the middle of the head. If a cyclops is mixed with a water nymph it makes the cyclops our size! There is one special mist that can make a cyclops have two eyes for a middle length of time this mist was originally called viper mist. When the Greek error had past, the cyclops became a figure of Roman mythology! Click on the picture above to witness a gruesome tale of a young man and the cyclops in the cave!

Thank you for watching!
