3. Introduction
KFC is a chain of fast food restaurants based in Louisville, The company was founded by Colonel Harland Sanders in Born and raised in Henryville, Indiana, Sanders first served his fried chicken in 1930 in the midst of the Great Depression at a gas station he owned in North Corbin, Kentucky. Every day, nearly eight million customers are served around the world. KFC has more than 11,000 restaurants in more than 80 countries and territories around the world.

But other items, like biscuits, pot pies, and mashed potatoes with gravy, will continue to contain trans fats, said Gregg Dedrick, president of KFC Corporation. This has left many people thinking that KFC is actually healthy now. But, is it really?

5. Why is it still not healthy ?
It is Still Deep Fried The new oil is still high in fat and calories, and even though KFC's chicken may contain less trans fat, the truth in the matter is that it is still deep fried. Food which has been deep fried will never be healthy. Various studies have shown that people who consume higher amounts of deep fried food are the most at risk for developing various health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure.
It Will Still Cause Weight Gain Aside from all of the other health conditions that you will be putting yourself at risk for when you decide to eat excessive amounts of KFC, you can also expect to gain weight. Many people believe that they can eat as much KFC as they want now, since it does not contain trans fat any longer. Of course, this does not mean that it does not contain regular grams of fat, calories from fat, and high levels of carbohydrates. If you think that KFC will help aid in your weight loss, it is important for you to realize that it will actually make you gain weight.
It Will Always Be Fast Food Even though KFC claims that their chicken no longer contains trans fat now, this does not change the fact that it is still fast food. While there may be some healthy fast food options out there, such as Subway, it is safe to say that fast food in general is unhealthy for you. Eating excessive amounts of KFC, or any other type of fast food, will never be good for your health.
There is no doubt that KFC is taking a step in the right direction by eliminating trans fat from its fried chicken. It is important to make sure that you understand, however, that this does not necessarily mean that KFC is suddenly good for you. It is important to continue treating it as fast food by only eating it in moderation.

8. II/ Is KFC environnementally friendly ?
KFC is a popular fast-food, consequently it exists in over different countries. Therefore, the use of gas to get to these restaurants is important in all countries. 9. III/ KFC: Animal friendly ?
Since 2003, animal rights and welfare organizations, led by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), have been protesting KFC’s treatment of the animals used for its products.
The KFC companies have more than 850 million chickens killed each year. The KFC companies’ workers abuse the chickens by hitting them, crashing them… The millions of chickens used for KFC products are put together in (shut) small areas where they have no place to move… They are mistreated: hurt when still alive, kicked, their beaks are cut…
We can find many videos secretly filmed by the PETA that show chickens being beaten, ripped apart and thrown against walls. Videos show just how horribly KFC treats chickens—birds are so crippled that they can't even walk, live birds are forced into tanks of scalding-hot water while completely conscious and able to feel pain, slaughterhouse workers kill birds by slamming them against the wall and stomping on them. KFC’s own animal welfare advisors have consequently asked the company to take steps to eliminate these abuses, but KFC refuses to do so.
