The war began on 1754 and ended on 1763. The war was fought primarily along the frontiers between the British colonies from Virginia to Nova Scotia.

The war was about the British and the French in a big disagreement over who owned the Ohio River Valley area.

-Virginia Militia was sent to order the French to leave. -Led by George Washington (22),established Fort Necessity. -GW and men attacked small group of French soldiers, Natives with GW killed a French officer. -French countered attacking Fort Necessity. -British outnumbered, high losses, French were forced to surrender.

-The Treaty of 1763. -It terminated the seven years war. -It was signed by Spain, Great Britain, and France. -The British began taxing the colonists to pay for the war.

- Britain had borrowed a lot of money during the war that it nearly doubled their debt. - King George the third chose George Greenville a financial expert to serve as a prime minister in 1763.
