History and Status Honor Unit with Distinction Program started in 1993 under LTC Engen and Master Sergeant Knewell Opening enrollment in SY08-09 was 133 cadets. Current enrollment is 123 cadets School and Parent support

Mentor Officers Honor Unit with Distinction Monthly OPD/NCOPDs Verbal and Written feedback Monitor Drill and Ceremonies in accordance with the FM 3-21.5 and uniform wear in accordance with AR 670-1

Monthly Staff Meetings Honor Unit with Distinction Updates from staff and commanders Receive written reports Offer advice and direction as needed

Cadet of the Month Honor Unit with Distinction President of the Board Criteria: Board, Grades, Participation, Merits COM Ceremony COY Board

Annual Formal Inspection Honor Unit with Distinction SOPs, Briefings and Inspections Spot check all areas for readiness Ensure that staff is informed as to what their responsibilities are for the inspection

JROTC Team’s Honor Unit with Distinction Plan all Saber Team practices and events in which they will participate: Homecoming, Winterfest and Military Ball Drill Team Color Guard Raiders Rifle Team
