3
Project Summary Develop a framework for Specialty-based Electronic Heath Record Visualization Merits: save doctors' time, improve medical service provided to patients
4
Project Description
5
Doctor Specialties Cardiology Diabetes Dermatology Treat different diseases Use different drugs Motivation
6
Specialty-based EHR Visualization Drug dosage Specialty -> Interested Drugs Lab result Specialty -> Interested Lab results
7
Ontology to models the domain of health care doctor, patient, specialty, disease, drug, lab result, SPARQL to find out the interested drugs/lab results for the given specialty Semantic Support
8
Implement the framework for Specialty- based Electronic Heath Record Visualization Evaluate the effectiveness of the framework qualitatively or quantitatively Anticipated Results
9
Further integration of health care, information technology and semantic science Propose the novel system that integrates technologies and put them to good use Intellectual Merit
10
Help doctors better use EHR Improve the medical service for patients Broader Impacts
