Current Situation Bramford HWRC - Closing on 31st July 2011 No current solutions coming forward for this site. A community composting scheme being considered locally with SCC support. Brome HWRC – Closing on 31 st July 2011 Eye Town Council looking at solutions with commercial waste management companies. Chelmondiston HWRC – Closing on 31 st July 2011 The local Parish Councils, working with a local waste company to provide a “pay as you throw” facility at the current site, due to re-open late August 2011. Community composting likely. Newmarket HWRC – Closing on 31 st July 2011 Charity run Reuse and Recycling Centre opening 25 th August 2011 on current site. Beccles HWRC - Closing on 31st October 2011 Town Council looking at solutions with commercial waste management companies. Southwold HWRC – Closing 31 st October 2011 Town Council working with local waste management company on a solution on the current HWRC site.
