Include four mains areas: Evaluations (academic and athletics). Recruiting person days, recruiting calendars. Communications. Use of technology. Campus visits. Tryouts. Timing. Offers of aid.

Enforcement program created in 1952. Designed to be: Cooperative undertaking involving member institutions and conferences working together through the NCAA for an improved administration of intercollegiate athletics. Allegations of rules violations are referred to the Association's investigative staff. A preliminary investigation is initiated to determine if an official inquiry is warranted and whether a secondary or major violation has occurred.

Violation Institution Self-Reports Violation Penalties Assessed Based on Level 1 or Level 2 Secondary Violations, Also by Individual Merits and Circumstances. NCAA Enforcement Staff: Specific Information Needed -> Names, Dates, Time, Place, etc. (Identification is Needed for NCAA Records but Source Remains Anonymous) Presents Facts to Violating Institution If facts can be verified by other sources, the name of the person who provided the information does not have to be released.
