Why was 2% milk removed? Removed based on the USDA Final Rule, but States have the option to develop issuance policy for clients’ with special nutritional needs Why don’t all stores have the WIC items labeled? Vendors are encouraged to use “WIC approved” or “WIC eligible” shelf talkers for minimum inventory items. The Vendor unit does not apply a sanction if it is missing under current policies.
