Ugali is a special porridge made up of maize and is eaten a lot by the natives of Kenya. In western Kenya people usually eat fish stews, vegetable dishes and rice. In Kenya they also eat irio. Irio is made up of corn, beans, potatoes and greens. They mash it together to make irio and dip it in meat or vegetable stews. Then there are the people who eat simple foods like cattle and goat and use them for their milk, meat and cheese.

Kenya experiences lots of rainfall between March and May. Kenya also experiences rain between October and December. The best time to be playing outside in Kenya is during the dry season which is in between June and September. It rains most of the time in Kenya because Kenya is very hot and very dry but tropical.

The native animals of Kenya are elephants, rhinoceroses, zebras, giraffes, lions and other big cats. The rhinoceroses are critically endangered. Kenya also has native birds including ostriches, flamingos and vultures. It also has native reptiles such as pythons, mambas and cobras.
