Regions defined by political boundaries, or regions that have a common cultural or physical feature. Examples: Political Boundaries: Cities, States, School Districts, Countries, Continents Cultural Feature: Chinatown; Latin America Physical Feature: Rocky Mountain States, Corn Belt.

Definition Region whose borders/boundaries are determined by people’s beliefs. Not a scientifically measured process.
