A world-class Innovation Ecosystem
6
Grenoble’s Ecosystems An endogen ecosystem: Based on a world-class research in science and technology. This must be extended to Humanities and Social sciences – this is one of the actions for the next five-ten years Quality of education and students to feed the ecosystem. Student entrepreneurship is a key issue. The link between industry and cultural organizations, research and education determines the success Internationalization is a must! 6

Student entrepreneurship Most jobs are created by start-ups. Young people entrepreneurship has an important social impact at least at short term Prepare the next generation of entrepreneurs Risks and challenges: – Difficulty to get access to investment – Lack of experience: marketing, sales, finance, HR management,…. – Limited network Therefore, we need to act along three dimensions: – Breath the spirit of entrepreneurship into our students – Promote entrepreneurship education – Support projects whence created
