[CLICK] In Texas, written curriculum is based on the state-required Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) which is tested by the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS), our state accountability test. A College Bound culture – starts with the TEKS and TAKS (in our standards-based curriculum). We teach children meaningful information and thinking skills to carry them beyond passing the TAKS tests.
