Our proposed project is a digital oscilloscope with playback function that provides almost any function of a typical oscilloscope, such as digital sampling, signal processing, auto-scale setting, cursor setting, reconstruction and visualization of signals. Additional features such as recording and replicating signals as a function generator, interacting with PC via USB and GUI display of signals will also be included.

Portability: must be easy to transfer by hand. Light-weight: 20 lbs or less in total weight. Packaging material: Firm plastic case. Operating environment: ±10 ºC around room temperature. Accessibility: User friendly interface (keypad, RPGs, and VGA). External connections: Power supply, analog output, and VGA output socket.

DSO Nano oscilloscope V2 A pocket-size device designed for basic EE tasks. Positive aspects: Compact and easy-portable (palm size). Color display. Abundant measurement. Built-in function generator. Inexpensive ($94). Negative aspects: Relatively low sampling rate. Limited screen size. Short battery life.
