English and Maths Test  English test – lasting 5 minutes practice 25 minutes test.  There are 3 sections-  A comprehension test. – 12 questions  The passage is quite long and needs to be read  quickly.  Many of the questions are referred to numbered lines  in the passage – it is essential to notice these.  Sentence completion exercises – 6 questions  Assessing knowledge of grammar and structure  Spelling exercise - 6 questions  Recognising the spelling mistake   Maths test - lasting 5 minutes practice 25 minutes test  25 mixed level maths questions  Children need to do ‘workings’ on test paper.

3. Reasoning Test The Reasoning paper is in multiple-choice format. It comprises 3 separate sections - Non-Verbal 3 sections of 5 minutes x 10 questions Each section has untimed practice questions Spatial Reasoning 2 sections of 4 minutes x 8 questions Each section has untimed practice questions Verbal 10 minutes practice 20 minutes test 34 questions Exactly how long the reasoning test takes will depend on how quickly the practice drill and questions are completed before each timed section.
