Task The focus of this unit is on developing and using good number sense. Good number sense includes knowledge about how numbers are structured in our number system, a large repertoire of known number relationships and a model of what it means to add and subtract. In this unit, young primary students are just beginning to build knowledge and experience in these three areas. This first formal assessment the students where walked through each question. They had to use their experiences and knowledge from class to answer each question.
