What is independent quantity? Independent variables are also called exogenous variables. They can be declared for all types of estimations. Different estimations include different independent variables

What is dependent quantity? In the equation F=1.8*C+32,F is the dependent variable because changes in F depends on changes in C. Which means F would be the dependent variable.

What is a known quantities? A known quantities is a value that is given. It could increase, or it could crease less, or measured.

What is a unknown quantities? The value is better looked for in a known quantities.

What is a linear graph? Linear graphs are also called straight line graphs. Linear graphs are used for analysis for experimental data to represent relationships between real life variables.

What are some Functional Relationships? Functional relationship exist all around us in our everyday experiences. Example: a store is having a sale on bananas. The sale price is 4 pounds for a dollar. The regular price is $0.35 per pound. The sale price of 4 pounds per dollar is actually $0.25 per pound. Therefore, you are getting more banana for your dollar buying while the bananas are on sale.
