Student Role Play 1. What three things did the make-believe officer do? 2. Would this happen in the United States? Explain. 3. This is a system called checks and balances, provide a specific example of something that one branch is able to do. (But, not another branch) 4. What branch do you think is most important? Why? 5. Which branch is a symbol of the United States? Why? What would happen if any one branch tried to gain more power than allowed by the constitution? Create a Picture that represents each branch of government.
