External dimensions and basic specifications are equivalent to standard product - Built in suction tube - Ball screw drive: Positioning repeatability +/-0.02mm - The actuator can be installed without removing external parts such as cover. *1 ISO *2 Federal Standard 209D The LEHZ series has 6 sizes and was designed as an electric version of the MHZ2-10~40 air gripper that has a 70% share of total air gripper sales. The motor is mounted vertically and the cam link mechanism has reduced weight and size. The LEHF series has 4 sizes and 2 stroke variations, standard and long strokes. It was designed as an electric version of the MHF2-8~20 air gripper and applicable to gripping of large work pieces such as automobile parts with long strokes available up to 80mm. The pulley belt drive can be customized for the drive speed and gripping force customers require. The self-lock mechanism is one of the features and has been adopted for all models. It activates after a work piece is gripped and prevents the work piece from falling off in case of an emergency stop. Additionally, only the motor power supply is turned off for emergency stops and the position is written into the angle variable sensor (encoder) to enable a restart at the position before the emergency stop occurred. (No need for return to origin) The self-lock mechanism can also reduce the power consumed during gripping (holding) to 1/3 with its gripping holding function. This may subsequently halve the heat generation from the motor. (Temperature during continuous energizing: 80  40oC) The angle variable sensor (encoder) can be used as a signal to output measured length (calculated by mm on the actuator side).

10 9. Precautions for Handling
The amount of contamination is changed depending on speed and suction flow rate. Please refer to “Clean data” in the catalog for details. The “Clean data” is based on test results in the horizontal drive. Please consider this point for wall mount usage and vertical usage. There is a possibility that enough suction flow rate cannot be generated depending on piping length or the capacity of the vacuum pump. Please prepare a clean fitting etc. by the customer.
