CONTINUOUS PATH MOTION
The speed of each joint of the robot can be controlled independently , then the robotic manipulator is capable of continuous – path motion. Continuous path motion is required in those applications where the tool must follow a specific path between points in the workspace.
3
Continuous Path It is an extension of the point-to-point method. This involves The Utilization of more points and its path can be arc, circle or straight line. Because of the large number of points, the Robot is capable of producing smooth movement that gives the appearance of continuous or contour movement.
4
Continuous path Controls both the displacement and the velocity.
Machining profiles. Precise control. Use linear and circular interpolators.
5
Continuous path control
Moves along a specific path Uses include paint spraying, welding, cutting, machining parts.
