3. Syllabus  Both Student AND Parent/Guardian Sign  DUE BACK: Tuesday, August 21, 2012  No Signed Form = No Computer Use

4. Prerequisite  Have you taken Business Technology Applications (BTA)???  Yes = Permission to take ITF  No = See Mrs. Stonecipher

5. Tentative Schedule  See handout for weekly (tentative) schedule

6. Rules  Respect classmates and instructor  Be prepared  Be on time  Turn in assignments, tests, quizzes, and any other requested forms on time  Contact Mrs. Stonecipher within 3 days of an excused absence for make-up work  After 3 days missed work will result in a zero!  Sign-in to class each day for “Employability Points”  Sit in YOUR assigned seat  Acceptable Use Policy must be signed prior to computer use – NO EXCEPTIONS!  NO cell phones, food, or drinks permitted

7. Negative Consequences  1 st offense – Warning  2 nd offense – Computer Shutdown & 0 Daily Grade  3 rd offense – New Assigned Seat  4 th offense – Discipline Referral to Office  Taunting, Bullying, Violence or Harassment of ANY kind will NOT be tolerated!

8. Student Assessment/Evaluation  Bell Ringer: 10%  Daily Assignments/Quizzes: 30%  Tests: 30%  Projects: 20%  Employability Points: 10%  100%

9. Required Supplies  3 Ring Binder  Wide-Ruled Notebook Paper  Pen, Pencil AND Highlighter  Flash Drive (2 gigabyte recommended)

10. Required Class Fee  $25 Class Fee due first 2 weeks of class  Waivers are available in the CFT Office  No Computer Use Until Waiver or $25 is turned in!!!

11. Drivers:  Complete/Submit a Driving Application to Mrs. Springer in CFT Office within 1 st week of classes  $5 - $10 parking fee  Fines will be issued without application/fee
