1 Paul's Love for the Lost Phil. 3:7-9

2 7 But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.
8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith. Phil. 3:7-9

3 Paul as an Example 1 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
1 Cor. 11:1

4 Paul as an Example 1 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
1 Cor. 11:1 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Phil. 4:9

5 Paul's Love for the Lost

6 Paul's Love for the Lost His Former Life and His Change

7 4 Though I also might have confidence in the flesh
4 Though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: 5 circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; 6 concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. Phil. 3:4-6

8 Paul's Love for the Lost His Former Life and His Change
His Heart's Desire and Prayer

9 1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved.
2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. Rom. 10:1-3

10 Paul's Love for the Lost His Former Life and His Change
His Heart's Desire and Prayer His Words to Agrippa

11 26 "For the king, before whom I also speak freely, knows these things; for I am convinced that none of these things escapes his attention, since this thing was not done in a corner. 27 "King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you do believe." 28 Then Agrippa said to Paul, "You almost persuade me to become a Christian." 29 And Paul said, "I would to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today, might become both almost and altogether such as I am, except for these chains." Acts 26:26-29

12 Paul's Love for the Lost His Former Life and His Change
His Heart's Desire and Prayer His Words to Agrippa His Attitude to All Men

13 19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more; 20 and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law; 22 to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some Cor. 9:19-22

14 Paul's Love for the Lost His Former Life and His Change

15 8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ. Phil. 3:8

16 Paul's Love for the Lost His Former Life and His Change

17 3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed (anathema) from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh . . . Romans 9:3

18 Paul's Love for the Lost His Former Life and His Change
His Heart's Desire and Prayer His Words to Agrippa His Attitude to All Men His Attitude Toward All Things His Words About Anathema His Willingness to be Sacrificed

30 May We Never Hear These Words!
When in the better land before the bar we stand, How deeply grieved our souls will be; If any lost one there should cry in deep despair, "You never mentioned Him to me."

31 May We Never Hear These Words!
When in the better land before the bar we stand, How deeply grieved our souls will be; If any lost one there should cry in deep despair, "You never mentioned Him to me." O let us spread the word where ever it may be heard, Help groping souls the light to see, That yonder none may say, "You showed me not the way, You never mentioned Him to me."

O let us spread the word where ever it may be heard, Help groping souls the light to see, That yonder none may say, "You showed me not the way, You never mentioned Him to me." "You never mentioned Him to me, You helped me not the light to see. You met me day by day and knew I was astray, Yet never mentioned Him to me."
