Practica Musica
2
What is Practica Musica? Practica Musica is a computer program designed for ear training. We use Practica Musica here at FSU! We use Practica Musica here at FSU!
3
Why is it useful? With this program, musicians can do the following: 1.Learn to read music. 2.Improve their ear. 3.Write their own music. 4.Continue getting better with different levels!
4
What are some benefits? There’s a textbook that goes with the software to ensure success. It’s an interactive program, so it’s not boring. There are multiple levels so it matches your progress. When used in the classroom, the instructors can watch your improvement and regulate assignments (perhaps a set back?). You can save music you’ve written as a MIDI file; therefore, the files can be played on Windows Media Player and Quicktime. BIG NOTE OPTION. You can impress your friends with your awesome ear-training skills!
