Methodology Based on Customs seizures reported through CEN Seizures made by Customs, joint Customs and Police units, other law enforcement agencies Analysis of data based on the calendar year (January-December) Data for the previous year submitted after the end of February not taken into account Data submission is a voluntary process Some countries provide either partial or no data Data quality needs to be taken into account Findings of the Report do not represent a holistic view on global efforts to combat illegal trade
