She discovered 3 new metals and she did something one has never done before She won two Noble Prizes! 4 Facts #1 She discovered 3 new metals: polonium, radium, and uranium.

5 Facts #2 She was the 1st person to win two Noble Prizes. Also, everyone in her family(including her kids) won at least one Noble prize.

6 Facts #3 Marie Curie had 4 other siblings, Hela, Zosia, and Bronya (her sisters) and Joseph (her only brother). When Marie was only a little girl two of her sisters caught a dangerous disease. After weeks of sickness, one began to recover. The other , Zosia who was only 14, died a few days later.
