Funding Opportunities Pfizer - Centers for Therapeutic Innovation (CTI) RFA Coming Soon! Information Session: Monday, Sept 10, 1pm, Duncan Reid Conference Room The CTI is looking for projects in inflammation, renal disease, and cardiovascular disease. Key criteria selection for funding will include, among others: Strength of data supporting validation of the target, Association to human disease, Target druggable with protein therapeutic, Scientific assets (including potential lead candidate drugs), Reasonable feasibility of scientific project, and Clear path forward to proof of mechanism studies in humans. BRI Center for Regenerative Therapeutics Abstract Submission Deadline: Thu, Sept 13 BWH employees of academic rank of Instructor or below are invited to participate in the Center's poster session on Fri, Sept 28, 2012 from 5 pm – 6 pm in the Cabot Atrium. Abstracts related to bioengineering, stem cells, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, biomaterials, medical and diagnostic devices and nanotechnology research are invited. Deadline: September 21, 2012 Amount: $1000 award for the best abstracts More than 100 posters will be displayed around the hospital from 8 am - 6 pm on BWH Research Day, November 15, 2012. Authors must be present at their posters from 12 - 1 pm. Everyone is invited to submit an abstract. Authors ranking instructor or below will be considered for awards. If the number of abstracts received is in excess of capacity, there will be a competitive selection process.
