POLAND has a long history ( Poland was over taken many times because of it’s location and abundance of resources) Poland is very desirable land because it is mainly plains and not as mountainous as other countries. Many rivers and flat land make it prime arable land.

Poland is a middle ground between Russia and Germany and suffered greatly during WWII.

After WWII, Poland was controlled by the USSR and the economy suffered. Since the end of communism Poland has become a free market economy.

Since then, the economy has improved dramatically.
