4 Integer Problem A widescreen television usually costs $1250. You can get a 30% discount if you buy it today. You must also pay 8% sales tax. How much will the television cost if you buy it today?

9 Look Back

10 First I found the amount of discount and subtracted that from the total. Then I found the tax of the new price and added it to the total. The television has a price of $945 if purchased today.
