ABOUT THOMAS MALORY Born in around 1416 Married to Elizabeth Walsh in Leicestershire and had 1 son, Robert In 1441/1442 he was knighted In 1445 he was elected a member of parliament for Warwickshire and served on commissions to assess tax-exemptions in the country The author of Le Morte d’Arthur (the death of Arthur)

CONTINUED In the 1450’s Thomas Malory turned to a life of crime. He was imprisoned for most of the 1450’s because of assault and theft. He died on March 14, 1471 shortly after writing the Arthurian Legend
