VUMC Staff Community Pulse Survey The Pulse Survey was administered in June 2015. It included 18 questions designed to measure engagement. Compared to VUMC Biostatistics response rate was 90% compared to 69% for VUMC 36% actively engaged compared to 27% for VUMC 49% partially engaged compared to 59% for VUMC 15% actively disengaged compared to 14% for VUMC Overall satisfaction scored 8% lower than VUMC (2 additional favorable responses needed to match) Overall percent favorable is 1% below VUMC 11 questions scored lower than VUMC 7 questions scored higher than VUMC Compared to 2013 Survey Responses decreased from 27 to 19 (administrative staff now reflected in administrative and core pods) More staff actively engaged (36% vs 24%) Overall percent favorable increased by 11% Overall satisfaction question scored 58% in 2013 and 2015 16 out of 18 questions scored higher in 2015
