It would be much better to be closer to 50% or below.This problem is a result of poor communication between probation officers and probationers. ((Deng, Schutt, Stoehr 2011)). Trainers, Managers, Probation officers, Computer, audio recorder, classroom. Probation officers will participate in Strategic Training Initiative in Community Supervision, a program that teaches probation officers to use cognitive- behavioral techniques while dealing with probationers. The outputs will be a monthly count of how many probation officers sign up for and participate in the program The percent of people feeling they have a bad relationship with their probation officer will be lower for those participating in the program as compared to those not participating. The percent of recidivism rates will be lower for those participating in the program as compared to those not participating. The community problem of Recidivism will decline from the current amount of About 75% of people released reoffend in 5 years closer to the desired lower level of 50% or below.

6. Logical Approach- Literature Review (Mohr 2013) said that in the Ohio State Penitentiary they have adopted group activities which have been effective at reducing recidivism rates. (Kroner, Yessine 2013) analyzed intervention programs based on cognitive-behavioral methods of treatment. They found no relation between cognitive-behavioral methods and a decrease in recidivism. (Schmidt 2010) talks about supportive reintegration into the community as a way to reduce recidivism in released prisoners.

8. Assessment In the assessment a crosstab and chi-square was used in order to compare the variables. A logistic regression was used to see if there was a correlation within the variables.
