3 To design a website that takes my passion for fishing reels and puts it to a practical use. Help people select the reel best suited for their fishing needs and situations, price range, and speed needed. And of course to demonstrate what I have learned from CSI100!

4 Created an excel spreadsheet comparing reels in terms of weight, number of speeds, gear ratio(s), line capacity, price, and drag power. Created a website using FrontPage to link to the excel reel sheet, different kinds of reels, manufacturers, my proposal, a counter applet for recording the free spool time, and this PowerPoint. Used former employer AllTackle.com for pictures and most reel specification numbers Linked an applet which measured free spool time

5 Selecting which manufacturers on which to focus Choosing reels to include Finding a fishing reel related applet Having a cracked laptop screen Finding drag poundage for certain reels Entering specifications into excel (tedious)

6 Proposal: Explaining plan and reason for choosing project PowerPoint: What you are seeing here Types of Reels: Categories of Conventional, Spinning, or Fly Reel Specifications: Excel sheet showing specifications of reels Free Spool Counter: Applet for recording how long a reel’s spool will spin (determines smoothness and proper lubrication) Links to Manufacturers: Check out their sites
