Introduction Written to Christians who were “Hebrews” referring to Jewish Christians Some things we conclude about the recipients: ▫Had suffered for Christ (Heb 10:32-34) ▫They were now growing weary (Heb 10:35ff) ▫In danger of falling away (Heb 3:12-13) We do not know who wrote the book Reference to the temple in present tense means that it was still standing; written before 70 AD Hebrews
