2. TRANSFORMATION
A change in a figure that results in a different position or orientation.
Transformations include:
Translation (slide)
Rotation (turn)
Reflection (flip)

3. TRANSLATION
A translation is like a slide. Every point on a shape moves the same distance in the same direction.

4. ROTATION
A rotation is like a turn. The shape turns about a fixed point to form a congruent shape.

5. REFLECTION
A reflection is like a flip. The shape flips over an axis to form a congruent shape.
