9. After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem. And they asked,
"WHERE IS THE ONE WHO HAS BEEN BORN KING OF THE JEWS? WE SAW HIS STAR IN THE EAST AND HAVE COME TO WORSHIP HIM."

10. They went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the Child was.
WHEN THEY SAW THE STAR,
THEY WERE OVERJOYED.
On coming to the house, they saw the Child with His mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped Him.
THEN THEY OPENED THEIR TREASURES AND PRESENTED HIM WITH GIFTS OF GOLD, FRANKINCENSE AND MYRRH.

When the disciples met together with Jesus, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?“ He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

32. After Jesus said this, He was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two spiritual beings appeared dressed in white and stood beside them. “Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky?” This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, WILL COME BACK in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

Jesus declared that we are to “love the Lord our God with all our heart, and all our mind and all our soul and all our strength.
It really does matter whether we will greet the Lord when He returns as an friend or as a stranger.

“Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me which I will give to each person according to what they have done.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

49. THE APOSTLES’ CREED
