2 My story began when I was a Young warrior. I travelled to Denmark to fight the mighty Monster.

3 Me and my men travelled to the huge Mighty hall. It was bright with lots of Candles burning in the dark. We had a look around and then we Went home to sleep.

4 When we arrived grendal was there. I pulled out my Sword and began to attack him. I waved my sword And struck his arm. His arm flew off and landed On the floor beside me. Grendal ran off screaming In pain.

5 The next night we were woken By the noise of the huge monster Called Grendal. I got my sword And my shield and set off looking For grendal. We went back to the Hall of heorot to begin our battle

6 Me and my men followed

7 When we caught up to him we found grendal on the floor And he was dead.

8 This is how I became the Mighty Beowulf
