The area marked with a green circle will be used for storage of materials during the works, which are expected to be complete by Christmas. Christmas Lights The Dock Christmas lights will have their switch on party on Saturday 5th December. This will be held in the Clubroom this year, please see attached flyer for full details. This season there will be many more lights, including an extra tree next to the Clubroom, in addition to the lights we had last year.

2 3 2  Following a couple of incidents, we have been asked to remind you all to be careful when answering the phone to individuals you don’t know, especially if they ask for personal information from you. You can contact your landline provider to stop unwanted marketing calls, or text OPTOUT to 80057 on your mobile.  The block redecorations are nearly complete for this year, but if you live in one of the blocks being painted and your front door has not been done please contact the office urgently.  Many thanks to the majority of dog owners who are responsible owners and are thoughtful towards neighbours where their pets are concerned. However we do still receive complaints about dogs urinating (and worse) on walkways and dogs not on leads in areas other than the BBQ area. PLEASE BE MORE RESPONSIBLE. Residents’ Comments / Housekeeping Issues Halloween Disco Considerate Parking The latest parking group meeting asked for a Newsletter article regarding considerate parking, particularly when parking up to the end of double yellow lines. It was requested that drivers park right up to the end of the yellows so your bumper is in line (it is the car body, not the wheels that have to be outside the yellow lines). Also when parking in the marked bays please ensure you park within the lines. Parcel deliveries Syon Park is closed to Dock residents until Monday 14 th December for the duration of the ‘Enchanted Woodland’ event – residents with passes can get free entry to this event, with guests paying. The gate will also be closed over the Christmas period exact dates to be confirmed. The new season starts on Monday 14 th March 2016. Syon Park The Halloween children's disco was very successful with over 60 people attending who had a great time. The organisers would like to thank the BDRA, BDCTA the Dock Shop and everyone else for supporting the event. Thank you to Tina and her family and friends for organising the event. With luck more similar occasions will follow in the New Year. With Christmas approaching the number of parcels taken by Security is rising daily. The photo on the left shows 8 items left outside the Security Office by a delivery driver, having made no attempt to deliver the packages, unsigned for and insecure. The photo on the right demonstrates items that Security will not accept. This driver had instructions to leave 2 sofas with Security, there is just not room to store them. We only accept small parcels and all parcels MUST be addressed to your property. We do not accept parcels addressed to ‘The Security Office’. For further details please see the ‘Residents Handbook ‘ at Brentforddock.com
