1. Who spilled the Paint? Dripped, Dragged and Drizzled Paint Drawing

2. Your challenge… create a finished piece of art based on a dragged paint foundation.

3. First… we will create three paint papers using string. The string will be dipped in watered down black paint then dripped and dragged across the paper.

4. Mentor artist: Jackson Pollock He developed the style of throwing paint on large scale canvases and then deciding what to do with the painting next. Eventually, all he did was use splattered paint to create paintings.

5. Although, this is a lot of fun we want to take our artwork to the next level.

6. Second… you will draw onto the painted paper to create a finished piece of art using negative space between and around the ink. You can fill it with patterns, an actual image, etc. Third… add color using a material of your choice: colored pencils, pastels, etc.
