Provide continuing guidance to the DAAC on data holdings, system capabilities, documentation, data formats and communications procedures which serve the needs of the scientific community. 2. Recommend and implement a strategy for prioritization of data holdings and level of support to be provided by the DAAC to the user community. 3. Serve as a community representative test bed to evaluate the effectiveness of procedures and protocols for surveying DAAC data holdings, ordering and acquiring data sets in an efficient manner.
