2 Purpose Used to create, update and delete Stock Numbers.

3 Background Use to identify the types of items stocked. Recommended using National Stock Numbers (NSNs). Allows for the local creations of established Management Control Numbers (MCNs) or use of manufacturer’s part numbers.

4 Situation The Warehouse Officer has directed you to create a local Management Control Stock Number.

5 Stock Number Navigate to Catalog Mgmt tab. (1) Click on the ‘Stock Number’ option. 1

6 Stock Number (2) Click on the button. (3) From the ‘Stock Item Cd’ field, select MCM option. 2 3

7 (4) Click on the button. (5) Next, select the appropriate FSC Group. 4 5 4 5

8 Stock Number (6) From the ‘NCD Cd’ field select the appropriate value. (7) In the ‘Item Nbr’ field, input a 3 digit alpha/numeric value. 6 7

9 Stock Number (8) The check marks identifies which fields required to be filled. 8

10 Stock Number (9) The check marks identifies which fields required to be filled. 9

11 (10) The check marks identifies which field required to be filled. (11) Click the button to accept the inputs. 10 11

12 Stock Number (12) The and button allow you to update and delete the record. 12
