Britain and France The South needed alliances because they were an Agrarian Society; meaning they only supplied for their family so they didn’t have enough supplies to help them in the war.

The Civil War helped us realize slavery is wrong and that just because we don’t agree on something doesn’t mean we should just give up and leave. I believe that even if the Civil War didn’t happen, we wouldn’t have slavery today. I think we would just be separate from them.
