3 Greek Amphitheatre

4 Greek theatre began around 625 BC (over 2625 years ago). All the actors were men. Each play was either a comedy (making fun of rules) or tragedies (teaching people about right and wrong). Every performance was performed in an outside stage called an amphitheatre.

5 Chorus Many productions used a lot of chorus members (approx. 15 actors),but only 3 or 4 main actors – each actor would play a part then go behind the set and change into a different costume then reappear as a different character. The chorus spoke in unison. The chorus moved with synchronized moves. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVRUfPRU KtU&index=2&list=PLcEAPRHjBekKLCaZkUS dt9GZaKhZO9Wn1https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVRUfPRU KtU&index=2&list=PLcEAPRHjBekKLCaZkUS dt9GZaKhZO9Wn1 musical Legally Blond

All (level 3) work co operatively to create a synchronised performance using any simple rhyme. Most : (level 4 ) rehearse to ensure all moves are synchronised and speech is in unison to tell the story of the rhyme/ song. I can use drama conventions for a purpose. Some (level 5) I can use drama conventions with confidence. My final piece is a successful piece of drama. Challenge (level 6): I can structure small group work. My final performance is a detailed and thoughtful piece of drama.
