Group One Economic Ideology: Less gov involvement/ laissez-faire Lower income taxes for all Lower taxes on businesses: –More $ for businesses = more for employees –Trickle-down theory

Fewer social- welfare services provided by gov – should be provided by jobs or private organizations Increase or maintain military spending “Government is not the solution to our problems, it is the problem”

Group Two Economic Ideology: Gov = helping hand richIncrease taxes on rich & businesses to pay for social services (health care, welfare, etc.)

Use gov regulation to protect workers –Increase minimum wage –Unions Reduce spending on military Why might group one oppose raising the minimum wage?
