2 Try using several of the techniques listed to compose an original monologue. Free write and then organize your ideas, proofread and edit. You’re aiming for 1 to 2 minutes of delivery time. You should aim for at least 1.5 to 2 minutes of written material to ensure you have enough material (remember we often speed up when stressed or nervous) Monologues must be memorized. A typed copy of your monologue should be handed in prior to delivery with a title and your name.
