2 Seven Articles of Faith

3 GOD Muslims are monotheistic because they only believe in one GOD. Muslims, unlike Christians, do not believe that Jesus was GOD!

4 Prophets Islam teaches that God has sent prophets to humanity, in different times and places, to communicate His message. Since the beginning of time, God has sent His guidance through these chosen people. The Prophets were human beings who taught about faith in One Almighty God, and how to walk on the path of goodness.

5 PROPHETS ADAM NOAH MOSES JESUS MUHAMMAD

6 “The Seal of the Prophets”
MUHAMMAD Muslims believe that Muhammad was the last Prophet who received revelations from God. Therefore, Muslims refer to Muhammad as: “The Seal of the Prophets”

7 Images of God and Muhammad
Muslims believe that it is a sin to associate any human being or Image with God. These images always fall short of God’s Greatness. Muhammad taught that producing images of God would lead to IDOLITRY.

8 Images of Muhammad Notice that Muhammad is almost always shown with a white face. This is to ensure that Muslims do not create an idol.

13 ANGELS Muslims believe in Angels.
Angels are God’s messengers on earth. Angels are part of the world of the unseen, which we cannot comprehend. The Angel Gabriel brought Allah’s words to the Prophet Muhammad.

14 FATE God knows everything.
God has given human beings free will to do good or evil. God knows what human beings are going to do. Everything happens for a reason.

15 Life After Death According to Muslims, our life on earth is a preparation for our eternal life with God. All human beings have a spirit given to them by God. Good deeds benefit the spirit and evil deeds harm the spirit.

16 Judgment Muslims believe in a Day of Judgment.
On the Day of Judgment, this world we're living in will come to an end and, the dead will be resurrected for judgment by God.
