Know the news. Hurricane watch and warning are two different things but they are similar in ways. Hurricane watch is wind conditions up to 74 MPH.(Miles per hour.) It will possibly be in your area in approximately 36 hours. Hurricane Warning is a hurricane WILL be in your area in 24 hours. A hurricane has been spotted.

Effects of a Hurricane. (Coastal beach erosion). What is coastal beach erosion you may ask? Coastal beach erosion is when you have a hurricane and it wears away the beach by eroding it away. This happens after and during a hurricane.

Hurricane Safety Tips. Right before a hurricane you need to have a disaster plan. And a pit plan ready. And a disaster kit. Including (water, non-perishable foods, a flashlight, batteries, duct tape. Remember to always g et to low or high ground because the storm strikes in the middle.
