Charles Schwoerer Jonas Brown RULES START PLAYING! START PLAYING!

Rules of Jeopardy Pick a category and select a question to answer. If you answer the question correctly, you get however many points the questions had. – Remember the higher the points on the question, the harder the question! When playing with multiple people/teams, alternate who is answering the questions! When all the questions have been answered, go to FINAL JEOPARDY! at the bottom (both teams can answer this question and if you answer this correctly, double the amount of points you have!) START PLAYING!

Graphs for 100 points! Back Draw this graph: y=2(x-5) 2 +7 Draw this graph: y=2(x-5) 2 +7

Graphs for 200 points! Back What’s the difference between an even and odd function? Even functions are symmetric with respect to the y-axis f(x)=f(-x) Odd functions are symmetric with respect to the origin f(-x)=-f(x)

Graph this piecewise function: f(x)= 1+x if x<-1 x 2 if -1≤x<1 2-x if x≥1 Graph this piecewise function: f(x)= 1+x if x<-1 x 2 if -1≤x<1 2-x if x≥1 Graphs for 300 points! Back

Where is this graph not differentiable? Graphs for 400 points! Back x= -4, -1, 2 and 5

log 5 (x*y)= Logarithms for 100 points! Back log 5 x+log 5 y

Logarithms for 200 points! Back 3 y =x

Use the change of base formula to solve this problem: log 2 10= Use the change of base formula to solve this problem: log 2 10= Logarithms for 300 points! Back

Logarithms for 400 points! Back

Limits for 100 points! Back

Limits for 200 points! Back

Limits for 300 points! Back

Show that there is a root of the equation: x4+5x3+4x=0 on the closed interval [-1,1] Limits for 400 points! Back f(-1)=-8 and f(1)=10 so by IVT there exists a value “c” between x=-1 and x=1 such that f(c)=0.

Derivatives for 100 points! Back 0

Derivatives for 200 points! Back

Derivatives for 300 points! Back

State the derivative of… sin(x) cos(x) tan(x) cot(x) sec(x) csc(x) State the derivative of… sin(x) cos(x) tan(x) cot(x) sec(x) csc(x) Random for 100 points! Back sin(x)=cosx cos(x)=-sinx tan(x)=sec^2x cot(x)=-csc^2x sec(x)=secxtanx csc(x)=-cscxcotx

Write the quotient rule Random for 200 points! Back

Random for 300 points! Back

Random for 400 points! Back

FINAL JEOPARDY! (Double Points) Congratulations! The game is over! Add up your points!!
