IT Infrastructure Planning Committee Deployment Example Deployment Example: in this topology, the GetPatientLHR, Document and Identity services are deployed in a gateway application in the requesting domain. This provides a simple set of interfaces for the LHR service to facilitate document query and retrieval from the XDS infrastructure deployed across a community of care. In this model the Identity service brokers access to the PIX/PDQ infrastructure whilst ensuring the legacy patient identity feed data is compliant with ITI-8. The Document service handles XDS registry queries and facilitates federated document retrieval across a distributed set of repositories. Outside of the HIE domain B, which hosts the Registry/repository and shared PIX/PDQ manager services, the other domains also implement the Document and Identity services to facilitate XDS publish, query and retrieval capabilities
