Scheduling A College Visit Step One: Browse the College Web page Make sure it is a school you want to visit Get anywhere from four to six schools in mind Step Two: Call the Admissions Office and Ask to Schedule a College Visit

Scheduling A College Visit Step Three: Plan for your Visit! Be prepared with questions About campus life, dorm rooms, parking, majors, classes, athletics, financial aid, etc. Anything of interest to you! Be as thorough as possible, but you can contact the college later on when other questions come up. We are only a phone call away!

It is always a good idea to apply to several colleges. If you are considering competitive schools you should also consider sending out more applications. It is never too early to start applying! Know the difference between application deadlines vs. rolling admissions Now that you know what colleges you want to attend it is time to APPLY!

What do colleges look for? Are all colleges the same? Application Transcripts Classes (AP/IB, Honors, Dual enrolment) Test Scores (SAT/ACT) Personal statements or essay Make sure you research each school’s requirements as colleges may vary! Applying to College

First and foremost: Tell the school you are coming! Notify the other colleges you are accepted to and let them know you will not be attending. Now that I have picked the college for me, what do I do?

Pay your enrollment deposit (if required) Do NOT forget to turn in your Immunization and Housing forms! Attend orientation events and those concerning advising and registration ! NEXT

When you have accepted the college’s invitation to attend, it is smooth sailing from there! Enjoy your Senior Year and Look Forward to New Beginnings!
